The work environment is fast-paced and high-energy.   Position Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for performing calibration, maintenance, and repair of complex electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical test, and measurement equipment. You will also schedule, assist, and guide other technicians doing the same or similar work to ensure business objectives are achieved under the guidance of the Branch or District Manager.   Responsibilities: Oversee a commercial calibration and repair laboratory operation. Performs routine and complex work related to the repair and calibration of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical test and measurement equipment. Provides field maintenance on equipment when required. Uses calibration procedures and measurement systems for use on customer equipment in compliance with requirements. Assures compliance to Quality System. Trains personnel, reviews and explains work.  Explains and enforces company rules and regulations.  Full responsibility for technical task performance. Responsible for planning, budgeting and staffing projects. Responsible for the achievement of business objectives Provides direct customer interface in support of quality, customer service, sales and marketing objectives. May be responsible for quoting processes, service agreements, renewals, demand, while establishing time codes for instruments and reviewing and pricing calibration & repair quotes. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required. College degree preferred or equivalent. PMEL training and certification preferred. A minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Expertise in at least one of the following areas: Electronic Equipment Calibration or RF Microwave or Physical/Dimensional Calibration.  Benefits: Health & Dental Benefits are offered on 1st day of employment!
