Jr/Mid Level Instructional Designer/Trainer (FTE/Direct Hire)

Keywords: ID, ILT, OJT, curriculum developer, course developer, training coordinator, facilitator, training specialist We are working with our client in locating an Instructional Designer/Trainer who will develop course content, reference materials and testing procedures in areas of sales, products, warehousing, etc. The consultant will be responsible for conducting training sessions via web conferencing, Instructor Led Training or on-the-job training.  Job Functions Include: Assist in creating and implementing sales meetings. Interface with employees at all levels within the organization to determine training needs. Assist in administering the LMS (Learning Management System) to enroll students, set up courses, etc. Determine best training methods for learning objective (i.e., individual training, web conference, e-learning, video, classroom, OJT, workshops). Develop course content (the majority of the Training Developer’s time will be spent developing content). Develop reference materials. Develop testing procedures to be used at completion of training courses.   Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years or more related experience, or MA degree in Instructional Design/Technology with 1+ year(s) of experience. Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Substantial experience and knowledge of PowerPoint.
