J2EE Software Architect
Job Description
This developer will be responsible for designing and implementing reusable, scalable, and secure frameworks for other developers in support of the Mobile Financial Transaction System.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in J2EE software design and implementation and will have delivered highly available and secure solutions in the past. Special areas of interest include performance tuning, designing extensible and adaptive systems, and leveraging existing technologies to solve new and interesting problems.
- Job Responsibilities
This role will include the following responsibilities:
-Analyze, recommend, and document the adoption of particular technologies to implement current and anticipated requirements.
-Design, document, and implement reusable components and frameworks to enable application developers to meet requirements.
-Analyze and implement security and cryptographic software for use in financial transactions and applications.
-Analyze, design, and implement architectural performance improvements.
Skills/Experience
Three to five years experience with the following J2EE technologies:
-J2EE Web Applications
-Spring 2.x
-Hibernate 3.x
-Acegi Security 1.x
-SQL
-Java
-Oracle 9i
-Web Services
-At least one web-based MVC framework: Struts, Spring MVC, Spring Webflow, etc.
Additional Skills
-JMS or other message broker.
-JMX
-EJB (Session and Message Driven Beans)
-OSGi
-Spring MVC
-Spring Webflow
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Software or Engineering related field required.
