We currently have the following job opportunity available:

 

Instrument Assembler

 

A current vacancy exists for an Instrument Assembler in Manufacturing. Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to:

Ø  Assembles a variety of mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical instruments and sub-assemblies.

Ø Test sub-assemblies and instruments as per established procedures.

Ø  Audit and assess assembled items and test results to assure compliance to standards.

Ø  Assembles a wide variety of kits and accessory items

Ø  Troubleshoot and repair sub-assemblies and assembled instruments.

 

The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following:

Ø  A minimum requirement of High School diploma or GED, preferably with a technical focus.

Ø  3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; experience in the manufacture of analytical instruments highly desirable.

Ø  Experience with TA Instruments Thermal or Rheology Product line preferred.

Ø  Experience building and repairing computers, hardware and software configuration, Network and IP addresses. 

Ø  The ability to read engineering drawings.

Ø  Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment.

Ø  Strong organization and verbal & written communication skills.

Ø  Ability to work in an environment of shifting priorities and changing procedures is critical.

Ø  The ability to solder.
