Industrial Maintenance Technician
Sandvik Materials Technology, a leader stainless steel and specialty metals products, located in Clarks Summit, PA, is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
Key Performance Abilities:
· Ability to troubleshoot AC, DC and control electrical circuits.
· PLC, automation and control systems experience or training.
· Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical devices, industrial motors, pumps, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric systems.
· Capable of welding stainless steel by the following methods; Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) Sub Arc Welding (SAW) flux-core arc welding(FCAW),sheet metal arc welding (SMAW). Welding certification is a plus.
· Able to operate drill presses, band saws, hydraulic presses, other power tools and equipment.
· Basic metal fabrication, pipe-fitting and plumbing skills.
· Experience with industrial safety procedures
· Familiar with the use of industrial mechanical, electronic and electrical tools.
· HVAC and rigging experience a plus.
Job Information and other Qualifications:
Work individually and with a team in a industrial production environment to effectively maintain and repair all equipment and related systems. Develop and improve existing equipment. Demonstrate competence and a high skill level in the troubleshooting and diagnosis of a variety of complex mechanical, electrical, electronic and systems.
High School Diploma with trade school required. (Associates degree in electro-mechanical technology or one year Military military mechanical “A school” preferred. )
Must be available for emergency call-in work and be able to work any shift. Excellent verbal communication & some computer skills required. Ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in both a team environment and individually.
