Newark is looking for a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative (Account Representative) who will sell to new, high potential unassigned and selected assigned accounts. The Account Representative as a team member with Outside Sales and Customer Service Representatives will pursue opportunities and build sales, profits, and customer loyalty. In this role you will be challenged to use your leadership skills, negotiating skills and organizational skills to ensure competitive pricing, customer knowledge and customer satisfaction. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:SELLING ON INBOUND CALLSUtilize all appropriate selling techniques including up selling, associated and substitute selling, account and contact penetration, probing for product and service opportunities, and actively closing orders.Outbound sales calls to assigned account baseOutbound calls to follow up on every quote; every contact on campaigns. Make regularly scheduled calls to all contacts associated with an assigned account base CALL PREPARATIONReview contact and account history to make quality outbound calls that offer value to the customers COMMUNICATIONS AND TEAMINGCommunicate to properly service contacts and accounts; participate in account planning and team strategy to penetrate contacts and accounts; work with team to maximize sales potential of new opportunities. REQUIREMENTSCollege degree highly preferred2-3 years of sales experience preferredExperience in a B2B sales environment is requiredIndustry or distribution experience is highly preferredStrong communication and leadership skills requiredProven track record of sales performanceProven selling skills including probing, overcoming objections, and advocating solutions based on customer needsPC Skills required - Microsoft Word and Excel, and WindowsAt Newark, our priority is our people.
