IC Image Sensor Module Design Engineer
We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to design, characterize and test prototype image sensor modules for industrial applications. The position requires knowledge of electrical design, an understanding of image sensor operation, simple optics, light source design, and mechanical design. The candidate will use all these disciplines to produce imaging modules for diverse applications.The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and prototyping of image sensor modules, selecting their components and designing the electrical, optical and mechanical aspects of the module to meet challenging performance specifications. The candidate will interact directly with sales and customer representative to establish performance specifications and trouble shoot problems. The candidate must be comfortable and knowledgeable about bench testing and characterizing electro-optical devices to objective standards. Successful candidates for this position will have: A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Optical Engineering. Design of image sensor control, timing and back-end circuits experience. Familiarity with ADC, CDS, and data acquisition circuits. Mechanical engineering with experience in the design of complex assemblies for high quality and low cost manufacturability. Familiarity with basic optics principal and experience with optical designs. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Optional: CMOS/CCD image sensor design. Optional: Labview programming, test development experience. Optional: Reliability testing and yield improvement experience. Preference given to those with internship/industry experience in these areas.
