Home Entertainment Product Marketing Administrative Assistant
Requirements
The Home Entertainment Division at Bose is in the midst of a period of exciting growth. We now lead the home-audio industry in nearly every category -- from loudspeakers (the 301 Loudspeaker and the Cinemate Digital Home Theater Speaker System), to DVD home-theater systems ( the Lifestyle and 3-2-1 DVD Home Entertainment Systems), to one-box music systems ( the Wave Music System) to personal-audio products ( the Companion-5 Multimedia Speaker System and the SoundDock Portable Digital Music System for iPod). Because we reinvest all of our profits into R&D, our market leadership allows us to make deep investments in the next generation of unique products with benefits that delight our customers.
The Home Entertainment Product Marketing (HEPM) team is responsible for ideating, specifying, launching and managing our dynamic new product portfolio. The HEPM Administrative Assistant supports two HEPM Directors-the Director of Category Business Management for Personal Audio, Multi-Room Audio, and Loudspeakers; and the Director of New Product and Communications Planning as well their respective teams.
This person's main challenge will be in making the team more efficient and effective. Key responsibilities span the conventional" (managing calendars, sorting mail, procuring supplies, and arranging travel) to the innovative" (presenting graphics, creating presentations, planning events, and finding new ways to take work off our plates).
Skills
The ideal candidate will have strong MS Office computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access), superb organizational ability (create order from chaos), and excellent initiative (identify untapped areas to contribute). This high-energy person also will need superb communications skills to work equally well with non-technical marketing/sales staff, engineers, and executives.
The ideal candidate must have 6 years of related experience.
Education
High school degree required. Associates degree preferred.
