Help Desk Support Technician
Reporting Relationship:Â The Help Desk Support Technician reports directly to the IT Manager
Â
Scope:
The Help Desk Support Technician performs basic network maintenance, is involved with system upgrades and provides end user support.

Duties:Provide end user support for all software, network and hardware issues.Build and deploy workstations. Maintain patches and updates for workstationsWork with IT Manager and Network Administrator on any system upgrades. Create accounts and grant access rights for all new user accounts, and maintain existing user accounts.Install and configure phones.Provide remote telephone support to external users as needed.Other related duties as required.

Education:
The Help Desk Support Technician should have a 2 year degree or equivalent field experience
Â
Technical Requirements:
Must have a good working knowledge of desktop operating systems, networking concepts, and hardware.Â
