Currently the Panasonic System Solutions Company (PSSA) has an opening for a full time Group Manager for the IP / BICSI channel based out of our North American Headquarters in Secaucus, NJ.BASIC FUNCTION:Create a new IP/BICSI Channel (BICSI: Business Industry Consulting Services). This includes directing sales activities aimed at this new market and securing significant sales growth for PSSA. ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Achieve SSG sales quota and other objectives specified by PSSA management.2. Develop sales plan by major consultant, dealer and/or end user target and implement together with PSSA team and Sales Rep Organization. 3. Team with the Area Business Manager to establish partnering relationship with key accounts.4. Track strategic planning activity of Key Accounts related to security product trends and planned purchases. 5. Maintain dialog with accounts through frequent visits, written and oral communications with dealers and MRO?s6. Team with A&Es specific to particular end-user categories. Establish working relationship with A&E as they relate to end-user. 7. Negotiate with key dealers on behalf of PSSA as directed by management in the IP/BICSI market.8. Actively participate in end user specific organizations and trade shows. Arrange and conduct VIP tours through Panasonic booth or arrange for VIP visits to PSSA HQ.9. Identify new MRO?s in the IP/Bisci market place.10. Assist each of the MRO?s on how to get involved in this new market.11. Establish quotas for the MRO?s.12. Develop and coordinate a comprehensive product training schedule for MRO, IPCR and dealers.13. Maintain detailed records of accounts.14. Assist in preparation of budgets.15. Implement Company policies.16. Assist in preparation and maintenance of PSI.17. Recruit MRO where necessary.18. Prepare and submit sales projections for product line on a weekly basis.19. Controls and monitor expenses for section.20. Attend national and regional trade shows in the IP/BICSI market.21. Review dealer appointment recommendations for the MRO?s.22. Handle problems referred from the MRO that may be beyond the resources and/or authority of MRO.23. Implement PSSA/SSG and PNA policy in the field among dealers and field sales personnel.24. Access industry direction and markets needs relative to sales territory, recommend new product and technology bases on assessment.25. Seek out new business opportunities and distribution channels.26. Recommend programs and promotions for the betterment of sales and gross margins.27. 60% to 70% travel required.MANAGEMENT: Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Must be self motivated and well organized. Must be able to distinguish the required actions needed to solve problems within limits of standard policy/procedure.PROBLEM-SOLVING : Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Must have the ability to become proficient in SAP and other Panasonic internal systems.KNOW HOW:IT and or Software related sales experience in the IP/BICSI market (also known as the Information Transport Systems (ITS) market). A proven track record of success in this market place over 5 years is required. College graduate with a Bachelor?s degree in business management or computer science or equivalent experience. Cisco certification or RCCD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer ) or equivalent experience. Security or CCTV background not needed but would be helpful.
