Global Medical Project Manager - Americas Tyco Electronics' Precision Interconnect facility is located in Wilsonville, just 10 miles from Portland, Oregon. Tyco Electronics/Precision Interconnect is a global leader in the design, manufacture and sale of interconnect solutions for customers with demanding requirements for miniaturization, dense packaging and electrical/mechanical optimization. We are seeking an experienced Global Medical Project Manager for Europe. This position may be located in the United States or in Europe. Primary responsibilities include: -Assessing risk and assuring compliance in all TE international medical development and manufacturing locations. -Successful implementation of compliant quality and regulatory systems in international medical facilities. -International regulatory competence and training to support global medical growth. -Regulatory (FDA, other) inspection leadership and support -Monitoring and maintaining acceptable levels of compliance in medical facilities. -Support and training in qualifying local sourcing medical supply base. Minimum qualifications include: -Three or more years in medical quality management systems -Background in medical device manufacturing -Regulatory affairs experience. -Bachelors Degree in a quality, regulatory, or engineering discipline and/or equivalent experience -Regulatory training and experience required; medical regulatory training and experience preferred -Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. -Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. -Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks, make decisions and solve problems independently. -A thorough knowledge of 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485: 2003, international medical regulatory requirements. -Language proficiency appropriate to the region of assignment.
