Hynix Semiconductor America is an industry leader in the development, sales, marketing and distribution of a wide variety of semiconductors including DRAM, SRAM, Flash, and foundry services.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

Candidate with strong NAND Flash background to understand trends in NAND Flash, understand customer needs in emerging applications such as solid state drives and NAND cache in PC applications, and recommend new product ideas with clear definition of features, present product development plans to engineering and marketing groups in Korea and San Jose.  Identify and meet with potential customers with the goal of diversifying Hynix’s Flash business with new products targeting new applications, enhancing profitability of the company.  Prepare and publish white papers that would enhance Hynix’s image as a technology leader.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

l  Must have BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Electronics. MBA is a plus.

l  Must have 10+ years experience of marketing or applications engineering experience in DRAM/SRAM industry and a proven record of accomplishments in new product development and design wins.

l  Strong understanding of current and emerging NAND Flash applications and should possess skills in identifying and recommending new products for development.

l  Strong understanding of consumer and communication applications.

l  Strong communication and presentation skills.

l  Position involves about 30% domestic and international travel.
