Firmware Engineer

Located in: San Jose, CA 95101 As a Firmware Engineer at Lexar Media, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Micron Technology, Inc.,  you will utilize your Firmware Development skills to develop state of art firmware for embedded digital devices. Responsibilities include algorithm development, validation and implementation, flowchart generation, documentation, and reviewing of engineering specifications. Additional responsibilities include contributing to controller validation for tape-out, generating scripts for corner and regression testing, as well as providing technical support for Applicationa Engineering and the Design Verification Team. Typically requires 8+ years of experience, but not always! Excellent debug skills and proficiency in C, C++ and/or Assembly language. Some working experience with AES or DES with one of the CF/SD/MMC/USB/MS devices. Memory Stick Interface and CF interface skills considered a plus. Knowledge of USB interface (a plus).
