At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Financial Reporting Analyst in our Melville, NY location. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of financial results for Arrow Electronics, Inc. The majority of the position will revolve around monthly reporting, analysis of financial results and process improvements. Additionally, you will be responsible for: oAssisting with monthly consolidation of worldwide results oAssisting with preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements oExtensive use of Excel spreadsheets, both maintenance and development oMonthly analytical review of financial results oCommunication with corporate and field management regarding financial performance oDeveloping process efficiencies oPreparing ad-hoc analysis as required by executive management oWorking closely with all financial departments to ensure accurate reporting of financial information Minimum Requirements: oBachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance oAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel oExcellent Communication and interpersonal skills oAnalytical Skills oDecision making ability oTeam player oExcellent organizational skills oAbility to work in fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: o1-2 years of Public/private accounting experience We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, which includes tuition reimbursement, employee stock ownership plan, health and dental plans, 401(k), and a unique sabbatical program.
