Position Summary Provides financial analysis, accounting, and reporting for business decision-making Responsibilities:  Â· Develop financial reports to monitor key metrics, calculate projections, and highlight areas of concern and/or opportunity utilizing spreadsheet software and other modeling tools Â· Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to determine present and future financial performance Â· Prepare monthly P&L reports with variance explanations, communicate P&L results, develop financial outlooks, and assure forecast achievement Â· Assure management’s understanding and compliance with F&A policies and procedures including purchasing and signature authority Â· Update forecast and budget templates and upload data into Plantronics’ Oracle and Hyperion Planning Financial system Â· Assist with the execution of periodic reporting procedures as part of each period close Â· Assist with the completion and consolidation of the corporate budgeting and planning function; reporting variances in corporate forecasted/planned results from prior forecasted/planned results Â· Coordinate with corporate departments for capital spending needs and reporting Â· Assist in analyzing and reporting monthly results to corporate FP&A, including revenue and expense analysis Â· Assist with the preparation and submission of various governmental reports Â· Continuously improve financial reporting function by maintaining quality service in accounting by establishing and enforcing organizational standards, maximizing efficiencies, and recommending new procedures Â· Provide assistance, coordination, and support through knowledge of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures The Ideal candidate: Â· BA/BS in related field· 4+ years related experience· Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills· Working knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion Planning Financial system, and/or Business Objects is desired  Basic Requirements: · BA/BS in Finance or similar field· 4+ years experience performing most or all of the duties listed in the job description· Experienced in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and packaged systems (such as with Oracle, Hyperion, Business Objects)   Click here to APPLY ON LINE   Plantronics is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.  To all recruitment agencies: Plantronics does not accept agency resumes.
