Field Service System Engineer
Job: Field Service System Engineer Location: Fremont, CA Job No.: 1783094 Industry: Electron optics Base salary range: $60k/yr. - $75k/yr. A world-class high technology corporation, located in Fremont, CA needs, IMMEDIATELY three (3) Field Service System Engineers. Two will work in Fremont, CA and one in Pittsburgh, PA. The company's products are electron microscopes and accessories. These Field Service System Engineers' education and background will include the following: Education: BS, or AS degree in a technical discipline; Min. of 3 years of closely related, hands-on experience; Experience with on-site installation, repair and maintenance; Hardware and software configuration knowledge; Experience with reading and interpreting schematics and electrical diagrams, down to the component level; Isolate the system fault, at the component level, for repair; Experience with current Windows Operating System software installation and configuration; Prepare service report to document work performed. Complete billing and / or warranty documentation; Experience with proposing design enhancements for the existing design; These positions require traveling on the average of 70% of the time, including international travel.
