FAB Buyer/Planner Sr

Job Description
The FAB Buyer/Planner is a role within Supply Management responsible for working with the foundries and Supply Chain planners in the U.S to manage timely delivery of product from the foundries. FAB Buyer/Planner Works from NPI through volume production.
B/P is the primary point of contact between FABs and QCT
Seek approval of and communicate foundry forecast to suppliers, collaborate with Sourcing Specialists, and manage forecast response
Monitors weekly wafer starts to support the build plan and Collaborates with Master Planning Analyst and Supply Chain Planners to issue supplier forecasts, FAB POs
Create, manage and resolve any issues with POs or issues with shipping of raw material
Work with SC Planner to execute,cancel,communicate pull-ins, push-outs, and planned orders as prioritized

Skills/Experience
Ideal candidate should have a minimum 5 years in Procurement and Product Planning experience
Possess expert Microsoft Excel and Access skills
Semiconductor industry experience
Strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment, and decision making skills
Customer focus
Develop and maintain relationships including price, delivery, and quality
Knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures
Previous experience with sophisticated Supply Chain planning and execution systems and processes
End-to-end understanding of Product Lifecycle Management
Strong communications, interpersonal, and organizations skills in a team environment
Knowledge of plant capacity planning
Minimum of 5 years experience of APS, BOM maintenance in high-volume production environment required
APICS certification a plus

Education Requirements
