Equipment Technician

Description: NanoGram Corporation is seeking an Equipment Technician to provide direct and hands-on support for the tools and process equipment used at our facility. A primary accountability will be to provide on-going equipment maintenance, repair and upgrades, as needed and to continuously improve the overall performance of NanoGram's on-line equipment.

Essential Accountabilities
· Providing direct, hands-on support for all on-line equipment, including scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, equipment modifications and new subsystem installations required for ongoing projects
· Conducting hands-on mechanical and electrical equipment tasks focused on increasing Tool Reliability, Tool Repeatability and Process Safety
· Attending weekly CIP meetings and providing input and recommendations to improve system performance and address near-term and future equipment requirements
· Attending Equipment Modification Procedure meetings and conducting the mechanical equipment tasks required for major equipment modifications and new subsystem installations
· Increasing Tool Reliability by carrying out tasks to optimize maintenance schedules, maintaining inventories for critical spare parts and effectively troubleshooting and repairing equipment
· Maintaining and providing accurate maintenance and repair records to the Sustaining Engineering Team required for tool documentation and monitoring Tool Reliability data
· Providing facility equipment support tasks, as needed, to minimize down time for on-line equipment

Equipment Tech
· Ideal Candidate: AS Technical Degree, +3 yrs experience
· Previous experience with Maintenance of Vacuum Equipment
· Strong communication skills
· Familiar with basic PPE requirements including full-face respirators
· Familiar with safe chemical handling procedures
