Entry-Level Technical Service Engineer
SYMPATEC Inc. - Systems for Particle Technology is an international leading manufacturer of high tech electro-optical instrumentation for R&D and QC laboratories. Sympatec Inc., a subsidiary of a German company, is seeking an Entry-Level Technical Service Engineer to be based in the central New Jersey area.
Job description: Calibration, Validation and Re-certification of the systems Troubleshoot and repair of the equipment Supply technical support to customers over the phone Support Sales in preparing and setting up events Testing and preparation of systems for delivery
Requirements: Knowledge of digital and analog electronics Knowledge of computer hardware (installation and configuration) and software (WINDOWS, 2000 and XP; MS-WORD and EXCEL) Knowledge of optics and mechanics Excellent hands-on and communication skills Willingness to frequently travel within North America, as well as occasionally Mexico, Central America and Overseas Self-motivated and well organized Fluent spoken and written knowledge in English and Spanish
The position requires a minimum of an A.S. Degree in Engineering, a valid drivers license and US passport, as well as the ability for frequent overnight travel nationwide and international.
