Engineering Planner Sr.

Microchip in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Engineering Planner Sr. to provide support for AIPD (Analog & Interface Product Division) Product Engineering team. Will be responsible for new product documentation, engineering work orders and material tracking. Duties include creating new product documents based on input from a variety of sources and tracking them from the approval process to completion. Write electronic work orders to start and change engineering wafer lots in the fab. Write change notices for the assembly, test and quality of new product material through the backend process. Will create the manufacturing part codes and associated customer part numbers with all relevant data to define how to manufacture finished goods. Will communicate with a variety of groups such as engineering, manufacturing, information services, document control, mask shop, production planning, fab, and Microchip Thailand. BA in Business or related field such as Material and Logistics required. Minimum of 5 years previous experience in the semiconductor industry with production control and planning required.
