You will ensure that these products can be released for production by ensuring their superior performance, durability, quality, and serviceability. Our customer has an immediate need for talented individuals who will develop on-board network communication protocols for their heavy equipment engines. Successful engineers in these positions develop and maintain communication standards for several on-board networks. You will analyze engine and machine needs and requirements, while developing detailed communication protocols. Once these protocols have been created, you will then review the designs with electronics personnel, and document the protocol standards. The Network Protocol Designer role provides the opportunity to work with software architects, system coordinators, development engineers and others throughout the organization, and positively impacts the company through the development of robust protocols that can be leveraged across their product lines. The position provides the opportunity to perform system level protocol design while interfacing with a wide range of programs and personnel. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced engineer to broaden their experience while transforming a product line in order to benefit the end product of the manufacturing organization.
