PANASONIC AVIONICS CORPORATION22333 29th Dr SEBothell, WA 98021Position: Employee Relations Specialist I Status: Exempt Division Bothell (No Relocation) Job No: 16030 JOB SUMMARYThe Employee Relations Specialist will report directly to the Human Relations Manager at Panasonic?s Bothell, WA facility. This function will include both administrative and employee relation duties.DUTIESAssist Human Resources Manager in the general administration of personnel functions including new-hire orientations and processing, and other domestic-related personnel issues including but not limited to LOA and Worker Compensation administration, audits, accurate HRIS data input and HR office phone coverage responsibilities.Assist employees, supervisors and managers in various employee relations issues by receiving intake of the issue, researching any necessary information, soliciting any necessary resources or experts and then resolving the issue at hand. Work with Mangers to prepare and develop performance improvement plans. Contribute as team lead for the coordination of all Company events such as Summer Picnic, Holiday Party, monthly employee morale events, serve as a liaison on the Employee Morale Team and as the HR representative on the Environmental Action Group.Prepare job descriptions and conduct exit interviews and prepare exit summary reports for the HR Manager. Coach supervisors and managers in managing employee performance. Work with Management to write Performance Improvement Plans and oversee timely follow-up.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDBachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Education, Administration or other related field.Minimum of (three) 3 years Human Resources generalist experience with at least (one) 1 year concentration in Employee Relations.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Human Resources principles, procedures best practices. Ability to function independently and maintain workflow with minimal supervision.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Access software.
