Job Description
Software Engineers in our Boulder, Colorado location are engaged in embedded software design and development roles targeted for cutting-edge telecommunication ASICS, part of our QCT Division.

QCT Division offers a wide range of tools to support the device development process, and develops new technologies based on the needs and demands of the wireless market. Devices for all market segments can now include features enabled by 3G wireless technology, in demand by a growing and increasingly sophisticated wireless community.

In this position, you will be involved in hands-on embedded software design and development where you will be programming in C for telecommunication product development. Work assignments require theoretical and practical knowledge typically acquired through a combination of experience and education.

Skills/Experience
Must have strong C programming skills, good problem solving skills, and experience using software development processes
Must have working knowledge of data structures, multitasking concepts, and operating systems basics

Additional Skills
Knowledge in real-time microprocessor-based embedded programming and embedded real-time operating systems is a plus
Experience with Perforce, ARM processors, and JTAG debuggers is an asset
Exposure to digital communication theory or digital circuit design is a benefit

Education Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering is required.
