Electrical Project Manager

We're looking for highly motivated, self-starters, with experience and know-how in the electrical distribution and control industry. This position is accountable for management of end-customer projects related to the implementation of Schneider Electric's automation equipment and software with a focus on turn-key solutions. In addition to oversight, this position also acts as lead engineer for projects under management and provides estimation and pre-sales support in advance of customer commitment. In addition to managerial skills, candidates should possess a strong technical background, be skilled in commercial interaction with demanding customers, and have a basic understanding of project accounting.This position requires interaction with many varied functions within the company including sales, product line management and external solution partners. On larger projects, this position will also have matrix reporting responsibility for assigned project engineers managing the group effort to achieve team objectives. This responsibility will also include the management of subcontract resources. Candidates should have a strong PLC and/or DCS background, preferably in process industries. A background in SCADA is a strong plus. Experience implementing safety in control systems is a strong plus. Experience in industrial networks is a strong plus.Experience in automation project estimating is preferred, especially in process industries. Familiarity with P&ID diagrams is also a plus.Candidate should have experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Experience with a Systems Integrator in this field is a plus.Candidate should possess BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 7+ years experience in industry. PMP and/or PE certification is a very strong plus.
