Electrical Panel Builder
PSI is a leading designer and systems integrator specializing in custom engineered solutions in the area of process control and automation. Our expertise lies in Automatic Gauge Control (AGC) systems for cold rolling mills, coordinated DC and AC drive control systems for cold mills and process lines, and HMI & SPC software. We are considered to be an OEM servicing primarily the metals and manufacturing industries, and implement most of our projects on a turn-key basis including installation, commissioning, startup, tuning, and training.
PSI is currently seeking an Electrical Panel Builder.
Description:
Control Panel Electrician familiar with AC/DC wiring, power wiring, PLC wiring of industrial machines to work in UL listed panel shop. Familiar with NEC code/UL standards preferred. Ability to do electrical installation work (run pipe). Some travel required.
Responsibilities include: Assembly and wiring of industrial control panels. Installation of mechanical and electrical components on industrial equipment.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have the following:
· Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Basic knowledge of electricity. Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
· Good soldering skills - can use a variety of hand/power tools.
· Must be a team player.
· 2-3 years experience preferred.
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
Some travel required 25% - up to 3 weeks at a time for installs. Some overtime required.
