Electrical Engineering Manager: DC Power Systems

 

We are seeking an electrical engineering manager with design and management experience in DC power supply electronics. Power IC design experience also acceptable. This full time position will report to the VP of Engineering.

 

Responsibilities include building and managing a design and development team that will expand the company's current development of PV electronic control and conversion. Provide exceptional engineering leadership and supervise a team Manage project schedules and resources Interface between other engineering groups, product definition teams and operations Provide verified and tested designs Maintain documentation on designs and product development Provide support to manufacturing and reliability, including component selection and specification Provide status reports and material to management and product development teams

 

Minimum Requirements: BSEE required, MSEE or PhD desired 5+ years analog or power supply design experience Experience with various DC DC converter topologies 3-5 years engineering management experience Proficient with Windows Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project Basic photovoltaic systems knowledge (actual experience given preference) Good communication skills, both verbal and written Meticulous lab notebook maintenance SPICE, PADs and AutoCAD experience
