Buckeye Partners, L.P., the nation’s premier transporter of petroleum products and owner and operator of refined product terminals, is seeking qualified candidates for:
Electrical/Electronic Technician based in Niles, MI – “hands-on” Technician with associate’s degree in technical field (or equivalent experience), excellent communications and interpersonal skills, ability to handle on-call duties, outdoor work and overnight travel.
Use computers, tools and test equipment to install, troubleshoot and repair industrial pipeline control equipment, including medium (2.4kv) and low voltage switchgear. Follow circuit and wiring diagrams, prepare as-builts and maintain records. Familiarity with electrical, electronic, and mechanical components is desirable. Knowledge of the National Electric Code, PLC control systems, microprocessors and minicomputers considered a plus. Familiarity with electrical, electronic and mechanical components is desirable. Must reside within 45-minute commute of facility. Candidates must have an excellent driving record and pass a pre-placement physical exam, including a DOT drug test.
