Essential Job Functions:
ScoreboardsDesign user next generation control systems including user and display interfaces (hardware and embedded software) Circuit design with embedded microprocessors, microcontrollers, wireless systems and FPGA’s (Freescale, Atmel, Altera, Lattice, Xilinx) Prototype, test, and debug new circuits Evaluate new customer requirements and update designs as appropriate
BillboardsDesign cutting edge high speed embedded FPGA and microcontroller control systems for video and content streaming to LED displays FPGA and microcontroller hardware and software design Linux OS on control board Video and high speed signal processing Develop diagnostic and fault reporting systems Assist in creating web-based user interfaces Evaluate new customer requirements and update designs as appropriate
Preferred Job-Related Qualifications:Requires minimum of a B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent Master’s degree in related field a plus 2+ years applicable experience of circuit and embedded software design Experience with embedded software design in assembly Experience in C, C++, VHDL, Verilog; Linux and embedded Linux environments Web design experience with XML, JavaScript, Java, and Java applets Familiarity with Linux operating system Signal/video processing and high-speed data processing experience a plus LED Optoelectronic experience a plus PADs, Orcad or equivalent experience a plus
