ENGINEERING MANAGER

Our manufacturing client, located in Jackson, Tennessee, has an immediate opening for an ENGINEERING MANAGER to manage staff, manage budget, and manage capital projects.

 Position Summary

The Engineering Manager provides the direction to the engineering and operations staff to optimize the equipment, manpower and production process. There is a large focus on improvement of the processes and equipment.  This position does have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications required for consideration -

 

EducationBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology



ExperienceAt least ten years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience. At least two years of experience in a wire and cable plant.Prefer at least three years of previous management experience.Excellent knowledge of Lean and the demonstrated use of Lean tools.At least two years of extrusion experience.Ability to work in a team based environment.
