Requirements
Bose Corporation is seeking an EMC Electrical Technician to provide test expertise in the Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) area to various product development groups. In this role, you'll conduct extensive EMC testing at multiple stages during product development to ensure product compliance with EMC standards. Additionally, you'll set up, measure, evaluate, and document test results for a wide variety of products during validation testing. Your primary focus will be on consumer audio/video, professional audio products and noise cancellation headsets.

Other responsibilities include the following:

- Work with EMC and design engineers on root-cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts that arise during product development.
- Provide regular project status updates to project teams.
- Continuously look for ways to improve existing test methods and lab processes, as well as devise new test methods, and develop written procedures where needed.
- Provide test reports and communications that help generate corrective actions.
- Work with custom database, Word, and Excel to document test results.

Skills
- 7+ years of directly related experience in the following:
- Experience with EMC measurements, test methods, and standards.
- Experience with electronic measurement and reporting, troubleshooting to the component level, and basic electronic theory.
- Experience in an analog circuit development environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
- Experience constructing prototype circuits, and familiarity with any facet of Audio or RF measurements is a plus.

Education
Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering (ASEE).
