To apply to this opportunity please click the APPLY NOW button or visit https://sypris.tms.hrdepartment.com   About the Opportunity: We are looking for someone with great customer service and communication skills, knowledge of the Cleveland, OH area, an excellent driving record and strong computer/data entry skills to join our team as a Driver-Shipper/Receiver.  Position Summary: Responsible for pick up and delivery of equipment. Enters equipment information into appropriate management information systems/records and performs shipping and receiving functions for the lab.   Position Responsibilities: Schedules pick-up and delivery routes, delivery tasks and miscellaneous errands in response to customer requirements. Loads, unloads and transports materials, test equipment and other goods as required between various locations. Acts as first line interface with the customer’s material handling personnel and customer service. Accesses computer system to generate shipping documents and completion logs on a daily basis. Accurately completes all shipping documentation for items transported. Schedules preventive and repair maintenance on all company owned pick-up and delivery vehicles. May clean and tag the equipment delivered to receiving area. Understands the National Quality Manual, local procedures and other related standards. Packages electronic test equipment in preparation for shipping. Job Requirements: Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen or have Permanent Residency Status. High School Diploma required. Minimum of 1 year of shipping/receiving experience or related experience required; exp in an electronics environment is preferred. Knowledge of UPS and FedEx shipping software preferred. Previous driving experience is a plus. Valid Ohio State Driver’s License. Clean Driving Record (no moving violations within the last 3 years). Demonstrates excellent customer service skills/experience. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills with employees and customers at all levels. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail. Excellent computer skills, including strong data entry skills. Makes effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities. Remains composed and behave professionally during emotionally-charged or stressful situations. Ability to effectively handle escalations and time critical issues. Meets goals despite unexpected setbacks, obstacles, or time constraints. Has excellent attendance and can handle responsibility.
