Document Specialist I - Quoting

Demonstrates competencies in technical documentation review for large electro-mechanical quote/bid packages. Evaluates technical data packages for accuracy and completeness and transfers into specified formats for other team members. Communicates progress on projects frequently and effectively to appropriate functional organizations and individuals, CQS team members, and management.Ability to analyze and identify the following documents, bills of material, approved manufacturer list, approved vendor list, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, fabrication drawings, schematics, test specifications, workmanship standards/quality specifications in the following formats Excel, CAD, PDF, TIF, JPEG, Word, Power Point, Solid Works, Gerber, HPGL, JIF* Comprehensive electronic component knowledge.* Understanding of printed circuit board (PCB), Cable/Harness, and Chassis documentation, fabrication, and assembly.* Ability to read drawings for sheet metal and machined parts.Ability to work as a team member/partner with all levels of the organization, as well as external customers and suppliers.* Excellent attention to detail while maintaining a strategic focus.* Ability to manage multiple projects/quotes concurrently while meeting tight deadlines* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel* Prior quote experience in a technical environment is a plusAssociates degree in technical/engineering related field 5 years of related experience in an electronic manufacturing environment preferred.
