Director of SAP
We currently have an opportunity for a Director of SAP to join our Global Information Systems team (GIS). In this role you will have overall responsibility and accountability for ensuring the SAP system and business needs of your customer groups are being met. This includes capturing and tracking systems needs; supporting business process design; converting business requirements into systems projects; and coordinating internal and external subject matter experts’ involvement in systems implementation and adoption activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading business stakeholders to develop, update and maintain 3 to 5 year Business Systems strategy road maps. You will lead business group(s) to formulate, prioritize and resource load, fiscal year project and change-order plans based on the 3 to 5 year road maps. Additional duties include: · Work with Business Unit Champions, Project Leaders and GIS subject matter experts, as well as external resources, to identify high-impact business requirements and develop them into value adding programs and projects. · Actively participate in steering committee meetings and work with key stakeholders, and project leaders to ensure projects within program have adequate business visibility, resources and financial commitment. · Leverage Shure’s Core Process project management process and tools. Accountable for Idea Generation to Execution of SAP initiatives. · Ensure ROIs and other metrics are produced on all business systems projects. · Report progress to business groups on overall business systems road-maps, fiscal year program plans and COs. · Perform post implementation reviews to ensure projected business benefits are achieved and document lessons learned · Ensure effective adoption / use of systems and changes. · Negotiate Service Level Agreements between customers and all relevant GIS parties. · Review current status of system applications and prepare recommendations for system improvements. · Consult with business managers and senior executives to improve business processes involving systems and technology (e.g., reduce cost, reduce cycle time, simplify, automate or optimize). · Create budgets and resource plans to accomplish information technology program objectives. · Lead strategic feasibility studies and/or requirements phases for key initiatives. · Review evolving and new technologies, assess the potential to add value and recommend adoption where appropriate. To be considered for this position we require: · 5-10 years project and people management experience· 5-10 years of SAP Experience· 3-5 years business process and/or system configuration experience· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field.· Knowledge and experience of SAP R/3( FI/CO, TM, HR and BW) and new dimension products such as BI, CRM and APO systems· Experience and knowledge of using SAP & BW in an international manufacturing company is highly desirable.· Prior participation on cross-functional business system project teams. · Excellent communication and organizational skills.· Ability to work well with others.· Negotiation skills.· Strong client service orientation.
