Location: Long Island, NY 11101Your location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend Director of Marketing & Product Management Fortune 75 Diversified Technology and Manufacturing FirmUp to 225K Our client is one of the leading diversified manufacturing companies in the world.  One of their fastest growing businesses is adding a product management and marketing professional to lead the business to a customer driven business model.  Success in this role will lead to a highly visible General Management career path.  This opportunity is based on Long Island. The Director of Product Management & Marketing will: · Create market segment business plans.· Design and implement strategies, processes, and product definitions for New Product Introductions, insuring: o  Customer needs are clearo  Market, revenue and profit assessments are powerfully executedo  Products definitions are powerfully communicated  o  A well-developed launch plan is created and effectively implemented· Coach General Managers and the marketing organization to ensure that marketing best practices are used and institutionalized. · Support M&A work.· Develop and implement winning business strategies and compelling value propositions for the overall portfolio, as well as for specific products and major customers.Qualifications: 7+ years Technology, Industrial, or Consumer Electronics product management and marketing experience. Progressive responsibility in a leading, best and brightest firm. A clear track record of driving growth MBA plus an engineering degree Product management experience Success designing and implementing marketing processes Clear evidence of developing/introducing winning new products Success with highly complex product lines and distribution. Demonstrated strategic, analytic and market segmentation skills. Excellent influence skills. Preferred experience includes: International experience Sales experience  Full relocation assistance will be provided.
