Director, Global Marketing Communications

Position Description:
You have the creative agency experience and the drive to make great things happen – this is your showcase those talents to the world. At Peerless, you’ll be responsible for directing a department of professional managers, project managers and designers to determine the best marketing mix to use in the development and global management of promotional campaigns, tradeshows and other communications programs. Responsibilities will include: Positioning and building product and overall brand from creative execution and messaging to advertising, online/web promotion and beyond Developing and executing annual brand/product communication plans and budgets Seeking out new, cost-effective advertising opportunities and evaluating performance Managing relationships with various creative agencies, PR firms and suppliers Initiating the establishment and periodic review of strategy, positioning and messaging Directing and supervising your team to ensure organizational goals are met and/or exceeded Analyzing marketing campaign results and adjusting strategies and tactics as appropriate Developing and executing integrated marketing and lead generation programs including: conferences, trade shows, web casts, PR, email/direct mail, advertising and social media Establishing departmental goals on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis Working with marketing directors and sales directors on new product launch strategies Position Requirements:
Success requires: Bachelor’s degree advertising or marketing; MBA preferred 10+ years of experience with B2B and/or consumer marketing communications; preferably with consumer electronics products Talent for gathering and effectively presenting data as information Excellent business, technical and creative writing skills and written/verbal communication skills Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite on both PC and Mac platforms Superior project management and leadership abilities Extensive knowledge of and experience with marketing communications strategy implementation Company Overview:
