Device Characterization Engineer

Leading manufacturers of computers, energy efficient appliances, lighting, automobiles, satellites, aircraft and defense systems rely on IR's power management benchmarks to power their next generation products.Responsibilities: • Perform FET semiconductor device characterization and extract models using device modeling software. Extract parasitics and incorporate them into model. Additional job responsibilities include low voltage and high voltage bipolar and CMOS devices characterization. • Perform model verification by incorporating models into device simulators and running verification reports. • Interact with EDA, IC designers and application group to incorporate basic models, statistical models, and corner models for all technologies.Experience: • Knowledge on Semiconductor Device Physics, Device modeling and Mathematics. • 8 years experience in semiconductor device model extraction (BSIM3, Gummel Poon, JFET, VerilogA, etc). • Knowledge of Cadence Composer and Virtuoso, UNIX based systems. • Experience with semiconductor test equipment, such as Agilent 4145, 4156, LCR testers, and high voltage test equipment. • Experience in using Utmost or IC-CAP model extraction software is a plus. • Good computer skills.Education: Ph.D or Masters in Physics or Electrical Engineering Submit Your Resume Online Now
