Seeking Design Engineer

 

Dataram Corporation is seeking to immediately hire a Design Engineer for our Willow Grove, PA area office.

Dataram, founded in 1967, is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of reliable, high capacity and innovative memory solutions. With more than 40 years of experience, Dataram provides compatible memory for leading brands including HP, IBM, SUN, Dell, Intel and AMD.

In this position, you will design and develop memory-based products.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Use CAE tools to create schematic designs & simulate high-speed analog behavior, under the guidance of higher-level engineersWrite testing scripts/programs for testing memory productsWrite test procedure for testing memory products in various computer systemsEffectively communicate project status to managementAbility to learn basic computer operation for variety of computer workstationsAssist senior engineers with research, development and design of new products including conceptualization, design, debugging, modification and creating documentationMake minor circuit changes using a soldering iron

Qualifications
You should be working on or possess a BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology, with at least 6 months of Co-op work experience.  (Candidates working toward either of these degrees and have digital/computer work experience will also be considered).  Should display a solid detail orientation and strong communication skills.

Additional qualifications include: Must be knowledgeable with MS Outlook, MS Word & MS ExcelMust be familiar with fundamental computer architectureMust be familiar with digital electronics fundamentals.  Knowledge of high speed signaling (ex: SSTL1.5) and memory basics (DDR2 & DDR3 DRAMS) +Operating Systems exp and/or Linux exp also +
