Delivery Driver

We currently have an immediate opportunity for Delivery Driver at our Chatsworth, California lab.
The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the efficient and safe pickup, handling and delivery of customers’ equipment providing safe and secure handling and transportation. Perform minor/preventative maintenance of their assigned vehicle and safeguarding all of SIMCO property in their possession /for their use. Generate proper and accurate shipping documentation (pickups sheets and shippers). In Addition, the Delivery Driver will drive all routes, and schedule each route for an eight hours day, using minimum overtime if needed.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or GED • Demonstrated ability to read; write; and speak English • 3 years previous experience as a driver and/or shipping/receiving clerk • 1 year experience working with computers • Valid Drivers License with no points assessed against record
• Able to lift minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance
• Able to drive for long periods of time (up to 8 hours/day)
