First-year objectives for this position include:Successfully orchestrate the daily operations of the Machine Shop, Assembly, Purchasing and Inventory Departments in an ever-changing and diverse environment.Develop, communicate, and implement short and long term goals to maximize bottom line performance, e.g., production cycle time, increased efficiency.Direct the implementation of a lean manufacturing environment in a rapidly growing company.Identifying, justifying and implementing processes and procedures designed to continually improve process efficiency, reduce costs and maximize profitability.Create a team oriented work environment that enables professional development and encourages creative solutions, strategies, and establishes collaboration.

A combination of education, work experience, skills and personality characteristics are necessary:Bachelor in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.10+ years of broad manufacturing experience is required.5+ years as a manufacturing or production manager in fabrication/assembly with similar responsibilities as listed above.Experience with implementing a Lean Manufacturing environment.Extensive ERP experience and MS Office proficiency, e.g., ExcelDemonstrated comprehensive follow through on projects, motivating, flexible, collaborative and influencing, sets a pace in developing systems and innovative approaches.
