Data Storage Device Retail Acct Exec Call (512)912-0190Description: A north Austin technology manufacturer is seeking a Retail Account Executive (RAE) with over 2 years of experience in channel partner sales of computer data storage, networking and data modules. Retail Account Executives (RAE) are office based personnel responsible for driving sales of storage, wireless and memory products by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key retail accounts within a defined region. Each RAE must uphold the company values and establish effective communication with the appropriate retail executives, buyers and managers to ensure proper product positioning, program execution and timely delivery of products.As an account manager in this capacity, your focus will be on:Maintain relations existing retail customers within the assigned territory; Drive daily sales activity at the assigned accounts; Work with the National Sales Managers to coordinate sales and promotional activities; Develop new retail customers in the assigned territory by using the web, contacts, or other forms of lead generation; Proactively develop account strategies to ensure customer growth and product line expansion; Work with logistics, planning, supply, pricing, and marketing teams to ensure customer requirements and commitments are met; Achieves assigned monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets and /or objectives. Submits all required sales reports to management in a timely manner; Maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database; Understands and upholds company policies and procedures. Preferred: 2+ yrs of retail channel sales or marketing program experience in the computer storage, networking or memory module categories. Apple channel experience a plus. Each RAE should exhibit strong solution selling and negotiating skills, communication and organizational skills and a solid understanding of computer networking, storage and components. Ability to apply market research and competitive analysis to grow annual sales revenue; A general understanding of retail promotional programs and methods are critical for this position. Ability to accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly promotions and forecast customer's revenue and profitability. Ability to deal with retail customers at a professional level; Ability to understand our customer's business processes and align our offerings to accommodate their requirements; Ability to work with others in a professional environment; Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing; Please submit resume and cover letter for consideration.
