Newark is looking for a highly motivated Design Segment Manager that would be responsible for driving EDE sales growth, generating awareness of design opportunities and coaching and developing area sales management teams take competitor share of this segment. . The DSM is responsible for driving and communicating the marketing and sales strategy for this segment by providing expert knowledge of EDE and a deeper understanding of local markets and customers.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive step change with design sales performance consistent with PF strategy Evaluate local market segments design opportunities and understand CTAM (Customer Total Available Market), develop and execute plans to penetrate markets and take share. Work closely with Branch/Territory Managers to achieve growth objective in targeted markets Coach and develop branch personnel to identify and capture design opportunities Team/coach with OAM/NAM/GAMs to conduct joint calls Coordinate technology and product training Engage with local supplier reps to conduct business reviews, tech support and training for local market Drive sales engagement programs Liaise with Product and Supplier management on specific supplier/reps issues

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
College degree required System/PC skills ? must have Strong communication and presentation skills ? must have 5 - 7 years of selling board level products or selling technology experience. Prior sales management experience is highly desired. Proven background with building supplier relationships ? must have
