The Customer Service Associate serves as primary customer contact for the Test and Measurement Service team.
Order processing, expediting, return materials, monitoring order status, resolving discrepancies and taking whatever action is necessary to meet customer needs.Works directly with Product Management, Production Control, Engineering, Shipping, and Field Sales to communicate customer needs.Strong organizational skills, oral communication skills, computer systems skills, and good math skills are required.Must be able to work with internal and external customers in a friendly, professional manner.Individual must demonstrate a high level of tact, perseverance, and the ability to maintain an objective businesslike demeanor.The ability to react quickly and intelligently under considerable pressure is required.Works closely with inside sales to ensure sales orders are accurate and complete before entering into company database.Answers phones in an accurate and timely manner as this position assists customers by taking their information over the phone or via email or faxFiling, general office dutiesAssist with sales reports, presentations, and other projectsDistribute leads to sales team including representatives
