Crystal Technician

TRS is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on experienced material processing technician who is capable of handling multiple tasks. The position involves crystal and ceramic processing, sample preparation and test. The position may also involve metal welding and machining. High school or associate degree is required. A minimum 3 years “hands on” experience in material related works is desired. Direct experience in ceramic/crystal processing (raw material batching and firing), machining (sawing, dicing, lapping and polishing) or testing will be a plus.

Personal Days

After the 90 day orientation period, each full-time employee is eligible for two (2) personal days.  Personal days will be pro-rated for employees beginning employment during the course of the year and for part-time employees.

Vacation Days

We believe it is important for all employees to have time off for rest and relaxation.  Annual paid vacations are provided each year.  Full-time employees are entitled to one full week of paid vacation after their orientation period.  Part-time employees vacation time is pro-rated according to the amount of scheduled time worked. 

Employees are eligible (at this time) the first day following their orientation period for vacation time.  Vacation time must be used by December 31st of each year.  Vacation and Personal time does not carryover.  For employees hired during the course of the year, vacation time will be pro-rated throughout the current year.  Please see the administration team.  Please notify your supervisor of vacations in advance.  Vacation time will be granted both on a first-come/first-serve, seniority basis, depending on company needs.
