Yoh has an exciting long term contract opportunity for a Compliance Engineer at a leading supplier of power generation and energy delivery technologies in Schenectady, NY This is a terrific long term contract opportunity for a professional individual ready to move ahead in a great career. As a Compliance Engineer you will: • Assist in Development of Rigorous Practices to Ensure Requirements are Executed & Maintained with the Changing Regulatory Environment • Support Execution Plan coordinating with internal functional teams and external parties such as Consultants and Regulatory Authorities to meet Technical Regulatory Requirements • Assist in Training of Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing, and other functions on Technical Regulations & Standards ProcessQualifications: • BS in Engineering or Chemistry • At least 3 years Engineering experience • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills • Excellent Interpersonal skills, including ability to interact on all levels within and outside the department • Demonstrated Prioritization and Problem Solving Capability • Computer Literate with exceptional computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.) • Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast paced environmentDesired: • Training Experience • Experience with Industrial Plant/Equipment Electrical, Controls or Mechanical Systems Design • Relevant Experience with International Technical Regulations and Standards (e.g. IEC, CE, RoHS, WEEE, UL, CSA, CCC) • Qualified ISO 9001 Auditor • Advanced Technical or business degreePlease send resume with salary requirements to techjobs@yoh.com .Yoh is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
