The product/characterization engineer will characterize SC products on the ATE and Bench. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Generate Characterization plan to be executed on the ATE and Bench. · Design characterization boards to be used on Bench. · Collect, analyze and summarize data taking on ATE and Bench. · Come up with Characterization methods on Bench for new devices as needed. · Evaluate and support analog custom circuits, video filter drivers, and analog audio and video amplifiers utilizing various lab test equipment such as: GSM systems, video generators, scopes, network analyzer and specialized audio video signal measurement systems. · Work closely with SC product/test engineering and design engineering in order to evaluate new products. · Take care of ESD and Latch up testing. · Evaluate customer’s returns Job Requirements: · 2-5 years experience in the electronics industry.· 1-3 years experience in the test/characterization area. · Experience working with ATE and bench equipments would be a plus. · Experience in system-level debugging, using lab equipments including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. · Strong communications and presentation skills. · Good analytical skills combined with a logical approach to problem solving. · Ability to manage a project from specifications to prototyping.
