We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Channel Account Manager in Doral, Florida.  The incumbent confers closely with the Regional Manager on matters of pricing, serious competitive situations, distribution channels, customer attitudes and current and future needs. The Account Manager has considerable distributor, reseller, and end-user contact. The incumbent also provides valuable field feed back to the Regional and Director of International Sales on any major market developments, large account activity, channel conflict and acquisition activity. The position support and influences the activity of the reseller sales force and the distribution channels.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Key Functional Responsibilities:

1. Provide on-site hardware, supplies and software training
2. Introduce new products and options to reseller accounts
3. Participate and influence end user sales calls and demonstrations with our business partners
4. Understand the complete bar code application and recommend the appropriate Zebra solution
5. Address basic printer technical services (i.e., printer configuration, ZPL label formatting)
6. Develop and implement sales programs for both field sales and sales management
7. Excellent follow up procedures with our internal and external business partners
8. Resolves both internal and external conflict with little or no management intervention
9. Knows when special requests are critical and facilitates expediting
10. Represent Zebra at trade shows and seminars
11. Maintain open lines of communications both externally and internally at most levels
12. Engage in demand generation activities and prospect for new customers.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Language requirements are fluency (written and oral) in Spanish and English. Extensive travel would be a must - 60% of the year. Business trips of up to two weeks would be possible. 2-4 years bar code system sales experience or sales experience in a similar field is required. This position requires the individual to be an excellent communicator, oral and written, be people oriented, be persuasive, and be aggressive in addition to having an effective comprehension of productive sales and marketing tools.
