CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – Technical -- TAMPA We’re growing again, and seek a Customer Service Representative.  In this challenging position you will provide assistance to a full professional department in a variety of ways: We sell thousands of top-notch Audiovisual systems and components every day.  Our customers deserve and need the best follow-up customer service, post-sale.  Questions .... concerns ... "how to use the new product" ... ordering spare or additional parts and options ... trouble-shooting .... plain old-fashioned hand-holding .... all are part of a day's work.  Every phone call to your desk is an opportunity to prove again that AVI-SPL is the best there is .... support, service, follow-through .... PROFESSIONAL!  Are you the one?  - Provide support for internal and external customers – promptly, professionally.- Via phone and communication systems, you will walk customers through operating difficulties, resolving usage problems — by instruction, training and some hand-holding.- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain technical problem resolutions.- Resolve product shipment glitches – qualify, ship, & track our loaner equipment.- Initiate & process RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) – resolve defective equipment issues.- Conduct pre-ship quality checks on new merchandise.- Convey to the customer the sense that they are of prime importance, with your full attention. What We Expect (the qualifications):- Actual verifiable Customer service experience – we prefer at least 2 years.- A minimum of one year of Technical support experience would be golden!- Multi-tasker? Of course.- Attention to detail? Trouble shooting skills? Definitely!- Ability to think, work, plan and prioritize independently.- Versatile and proficient w/ Windows applications, office equipment, & all communication methods.- The potential and desire to quickly become technologically conversant and savvy about our entire product line.  Our Customer Service Reps have to quickly acquire hands-on product knowledge.
