Business Development Manager

MTI Electronics is a Contract Electronic Manufacturer providing electronic manufacturing services to OEMs, including Printed Circuit Board (“PCBâ€�) layout, PCB assembly & test, LCD/touch screen integration, complete box build, and thick film hybrid circuits.  In order to facilitate continued growth, MTI is seeking to expand its field sales force with an aggressive Business Development Manager to cover the upper Midwest Territory.  Locations could include Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, Minneapolis, and/or Detroit.

 

Essential Functions:

·  Responsible for the development, execution and achievement of annual sales and business development plans to meet and exceed expectations;

·  Involved in all aspects of the sales cycle, including lead generation, proposals, presentations, executive meetings, negotiations, contract development and review, and post-closing follow-up.

·  Effectively brief and leverage executives on strategies and tactics to capitalize on new business opportunities and enhance customer relationships.

·  Work closely with internal Program Management and New Product Introduction team to facilitate seamless program transition into production.

 

Essential Qualifications:

·  Demonstrated passion for building a strong growing business consistent with corporate objectives and goals

·  Three (3) to five (5) years of increasingly significant sales experience (electronic contract manufacturing and/or technical sales experience a plus)

·  Verifiable experience building, implementing, and executing successful sales and business development plans

·  Personal stature and interpersonal skills capable of working with every level of an organization within the industry and defined markets

·  Proven ability to multi-task and drive revenue from multiple accounts

·  Must be flexible, innovative and comfortable in setting own priorities.
