Audio Engineer
Requirements
You will perform basic research in audio reproduction with an emphasis on automotive systems. You will design and prototype new system concepts.
Specific Responsibilities:
*Performing acoustic measurements and formal listening tests to evaluate system performance.
*Optimizing system performance for real world environments.
*Development and test new audio signal processing algorithms.
Skills
The ideal candidate should have a MSEE with at least 4 years experience in Audio and Signal Processing. Expertise using Matlab and a strong understanding of acoustics and acoustic measurement techniques is required. A basic understanding of psychoacoustics is highly desirable. A working knowledge of transducers and loudspeaker enclosures is also a plus.
Education
The ideal candidate should have a MSEE with at least 4 years experience in Audio and Signal Processing.
