We have the following opening in our Roseville, CA Manufacturing Facility. We invite you to be part of our team! DUTIES: ' Evaluate and assist Site safety and environmental regulatory compliance activities.' Develop specifications to ensure compliance with new and existing safety and environmental regulatory requirements.' Monitor hazardous materials usage, storage and disposal.' Monitor hazardous waste storage and disposal.' Perform industrial hygiene and environmental sampling.' Conduct accident/illness investigations.' Perform environmental inspections of chemical/gas storage areas, waste storage areas, waste treatment facilities, etc.' Inspect equipment and review process specifications for compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulatory agencies.' Devise modifications to new and existing equipment and processes to improve safety and environmental conditions.' Monitor and assist safety and environmental consultants with compliance activities. ' Develop and conduct Safety and Environmental training. QUALIFICATIONS:' B.S. in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or Industrial Hygiene, or the equivalent in education and directly related experience.' 0-2 years experience as S & E Engineer.' Internship in Safety/Environmental Engineer function within manufacturing or Semiconductor industry preferred.' Well-developed problem solving, communication, troubleshooting, and computer skills.
